Department of History 

In the academic year 2018-2019, History subject was introduced in the college at general level. Later on it was introduced at the special level in the academic year 2019-20.

Department of History is one of the academic departments of the college. It is a composite department that teaches various courses in Indian history, non-Indian history and emphasizes on emerging areas of history such as political history, social history, intellectual history and world history.

Also, the department intends to make students understand the importance of history through various activities. Education is available under Indian Administrative Services, State Services etc. job opportunities in many different fields.
